The self-service point is located in the village center next to M-Market at Savilahdentie 2, 54920 Taipalsaari. The service point is open according to M-Market Taipalsaari’s opening hours during the summer season.

As the name suggests, the self-service point is a place where you can brew your daily coffee, maintain your bike, or meet a friend. The bulletin board provides information about local businesses, associations, and events. The Saimaa Geopark sites are also featured. The maps on the walls make it easy to plan your own trips and get tips on different attractions.

The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and a recycling point for waste. Bicycle maintenance supplies are available for free use in a locked kitchen cabinet. The key for the cabinet can be picked up at the M-Market checkout. There are also books available on the shelf for reading.
