Taipalsaari is known for its natural beauty and abundance of water bodies. Half of Taipalsaari’s area is Lake Saimaa, and the other half consists of about 700 islands. The shoreline, mostly made up of beautiful sandy and rocky beaches, is approximately a thousand kilometers long. Taipalsaari offers a variety of activities year-round for both tourists and seasonal residents.
